A)   GPS –Step by Step Guide   (English Verison)

Step 1: “GPS”
GPS Screen:
Click “GPS” to “MapKing” screen. 
 
"MapKing Welcome to voice navigation system" will be shown.
 
There will be four choices on the screen. Click “GPS” to automatically check GPS status around 1 to 4 minutes, depending on the position of motor. “Green signal” on the right turns into “Blue Signal”, “No Fix” turns into “Fix” when GPS status works effectively. 
 
Step 2: “Destination” 
Example, Press “Petrol Station” and enter the name of “CALTEX” in “Name Filter”. Relevant address will be shown on the list.  Then, choose the petrol station you would go to and click “Navi” on the right.
There will be three buttons on the screen: “Destination”  “Start Point”  and  “Cancel”  to confirm.
 
Step 3: “Route” 
In “Route”, click “Route Result” showing the whole route and finally press “Simulation”, which Navigation system will start off and indicate driving kilometer, time and direction by using voice.
Generally, just click “Navigation” after GPS status and destination setting.
 
How to transfer “Voice”?
In MapKing Screen, Click “Advanced” and “Voice” which provides different languages such as English, Thai and Malay.
                                           
How to adjust “Volume”?
Press the second button on the top left hand corner. There will be a “Loud Speaker” small icon above adjusting the volume.
(The sixth icon from left).
 
How to use FM function?
FM function enables to transfer songs (MP3) and navigation voice into motor’s radio.
Press the second button on the top left hand corner back to Main Meun. There will be a “Detect” small icon above (The fifth icon from left).  Its frequency should be altered to 108Mhz.
The loud speaker of GPS system is not available when FM function is under operation. 
 
 
A)  GPS - 簡單操作步驟  (Chinese Version)
 
開關 (機身左上角第一個按鈕)
第一個版面是GPS 畫面 / 第二個版面是 Flash 畫面. 
 
(機身左上角第二個按鈕 – 返回主目錄)
 
步驟1: “GPS 定位”
橙色畫面操作:
選擇 “導航” 進入MapKing (地圖王) 灰色背景畫面. 
 
畫面顯示 MapKing 歡迎使用衛星導航系統
 
畫面出現四個選擇，按 “GPS狀態” 顯示定位情況．大約1至 4分鐘內完成自動定位，無需按任何功能撃． (定位時間視乎汽車位置) 完成後，右下角的 “綠色波” 會變成 “藍色波” ; “未定位” 會變成 “定位”．
 
步驟2: “設目的地” 
例子: 按 “油站”再按 “名稱篩選”，手寫輸入油站名稱 “加德”，再按 “確定”，相關油站名稱會顯示出來，再選擇需要前往的油站，按 “油站名稱”，進入後再按右下角的 “Navi”.
畫面會出現三個按鈕: “目的地” “起始點” 和 “取消”，按 “目的地” 確應.
 
步驟3: “路徑規劃”
 輸入目的地後，MapKing畫面裡按 “路徑規劃”，再按 “規劃結果”，整條行車路線會顯示出來. 汽車行駛時，導航系統會以聲音方式提醒剩下公里， 剩下時間，轉右轉左. 按 “模擬導航” 可以觀看過程.
 
實際上，汽車定位及目的地設定後只需按MapKing的 “導航模式” 便可以運作．
 
如何轉換 “導航語音” ?
MapKing 畫面裡，選擇 “系統設定”，再按右上角 “導航語音”，選擇所需語言，包括英文，泰文，馬來文等．
 
如何調整 “導航語音大小” ?
按機身左上角第二個按鈕，返回主目錄，畫面上方會顯示“喇叭”細圖標　（左邊第六個圖標），可以調節導航語音大小．
 
如何使用FM 功能?
FM 功能　－　將音訊（包括歌曲，導航語音）轉往汽車收音機播放．
按機身左上角第二個按鈕，返回主目錄，畫面上方會顯示“接收” 細圖標 (左邊第五個圖標) 進入後需要調節頻道至108Mhz. 
 
使用FM 時候, 機身喇叭會無效.  
 
 
B)  FAQ  -  GPS 常見問題
 
What is Global Positioning System?
GPS is an abbreviation of Global Positioning System, invented by American Department of Defense previous use for military.
 
Do I pay for GPS service?
GPS service is free to use anywhere.
 
Why GPS status cannot work after Switch On?
GPS must place on open area, GPS signal is affected by weather and places.  
Remember that GPS signal cannot be received inside building or shelter.
 
Why does GPS status still cannot work after the normal signal received?
PND has not been used for long time. Please reset PND and GPS (Press “Reset” with a stylus stick).
 
Why cannot find the name of street?
Please click “Range” (All range) to choose area you want.
 
How can I upgrade GPS map? Extra fee?
Customers must register our products within 3 months after purchase:
(You can get Map Upgrade free.)
 
Please contact seller (PDAsia Ltd) if customers bought it over three months without product registration. 
The Upgrade fee would be charged by seller. 
 
How can I transfer the interface into English / Chinese?
Please click (Advanced) and Choose (Switch Map) to Chinese / English version, and then click (Voice) to Cantonese / English. 
Next, Press (Interface) and choose Handwriting and Traditional Chinese / English.
 
How many points (POI) can I save?
You can store 255 points.
 
Can I exchange GPS’s battery?
NO. You cannot. Please contact our customer service if battery has any problems.
 
Note:
For the first use, GPS signal will be fixed in longer time because new GPS has no records of your position.  
Please set it in open area and notice that vehicle’s glass, roof, bad weather, thicker cloud, open area and skyscrapers
may be affected its connection.
